Chris is a Central Florida native and has been on the food and wine scene his whole life. Growing up he always wanted to be a chef and for college he opted out of the normal track most young adults take and attended culinary school. While at Le Cordon Bleu he took one wine class and quickly confirmed the thoughts he had been having about becoming a sommelier. He then started racking up certifications and is now a Sommelier (certified by the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers) and is a Certified Specialist of Wine (certified by the Society of Wine Educators). Having run wine, spirits, and sommelier training programs at establishments like Charley’s Steakhouse, Café Margaux, and WineStyles he brings knowledge and experience to the table that is paralleled by very few his age and is very excited to share it with you. He is also available to help with food and wine pairings and has a certain soft spot for those wines that are hard to find and a little eclectic. Chris is very excited to bring his background to the team and can’t wait to meet you at our next tasting and help you with any questions you might have. He will be based primarily at our Viera location so feel free to contact the store or stop by to see him. Cheers!
